The company was founded in 1919 by Elim Castellani, who opened his fine antique and philately store in Cortona, in Via Nazionale.
There have been many changes in tastes and styles, till the third generation with his grandson Paolo Castellani, who offers eclectic antiques, being careful to the changes in the demand of a growing number of refined collectors.
The huge experience in the art market on an international scale has been gained in 30 years of activity, working with the auction Finarte and participating in the creation of the first antiques TV programme in Europe produced by Telemarket.
In this way, Paolo Castellani managed to have a large group of collaborators in every part of the world, so that he can offer to his customers even newer suggestions and ideas for unique furnishings.
The famous collection of pieces of furniture made of curved beech wood, which date back to the second half of the 19th century and to the first half of the 20th century, have been conceived by great designers like Thonet, Hoffman and Loss.
